Teilnahme
Teilnahmeberechtigt sind Kinder und Jugendliche im Alter von 8 bis 17 Jahren, die Freude am Rechnen haben. Schulnoten spielen keine Rolle.
Die Teilnehmer werden in zwei Altersgruppen aufgeteilt. Die Gruppen bestehen aus jeweils 25 Teilnehmern.
Die Teilnahme ist bei uns kostenlos, da wir jedem Kind die Möglichkeit bieten möchten an unserem Wettbewerb teilzunehmen. Die Fahrt- und Übernachtungskosten werden von uns nicht übernommen. In besonderen Härtefällen ist eine Unterstützung der Fahrt- und Unterbringungskosten möglich.
Es wird erwartet, dass jeweils eine verantwortliche Begleit-/Aufsichtsperson mitkommt.

Take part
Kids and teenagers with the joyousness and passion by doing mental calculation are eligible in the age 8 till 17 years. School grades are irrelevant.
The participants are devided in two age groups . 25 participants are in each age group.
The attendance is for free, because we would like to offer the possibility to attend to the competition for every student. We do not pay for travel expenses and accomodation costs. But in special hardship cases we support or take over some costs.
It is expected that a supervisor or companion accompanied every student.

Die Teilnehmer können sich ab sofort bis zum 20.2.2011 per E-mail kontakt@i-do-maths.de plus cc: caroline.merkel@stadt.nuernberg.de zur 2. Kopfrechenmeisterschaft 2011 anmelden!
Jeder Teilnehmer wird gebeten einen selbstverfassten kurzen Aufsatz/Text (1 Seite) zu verfassen, in dem die Bewerber ihre Begeisterung und Leidenschaft für die Mathematik schildern und warum sie an der 2. Kopfrechenweltmeisterschaft 2011 teilnehmen möchten (in deutsch oder englisch).
Da wir leider nur eine begrenzte Teilnehmeranzahl von 25 Teilnehmern in jeder Altersgruppe anbieten können, dient dieser Aufsatz zur Auswahl der Teilnehmer. Dies bedeutet dieser selbstverfasste Text entscheidet schließlich über die Teilnahme an der 2. Kopfrechenwelt-meisterschaft 2011. Anmeldeschluß ist der 20.2. 2011. Die Bewerber erfahren per E-mail ab Dezember 2010, ob sie an der 2. Kopfrechenweltmeisterschaft 2011 für Schülerinnen und Schüler zugelassen sind.
Darüber hinaus bitten wir die Teilnehmer folgende Angaben zu machen (siehe Teilnehmer Information / Participant details).

The registration for the World Championship 2011 for students is possible until Feb, 20th 2011 and could be made by e-mail kontakt@i-do-maths.de additional cc: caroline.merkel@stadt.nuernberg.de !
Each participant are asked to write an essay/story (1 page) to express their joyousness and passion for mental calculation or mathematics, as well as why they would like to attend at the World Championship for students (in german or english).
Because we are not able to offer more participation places as 25 persons for each age group, this essay decide which student is allowed to attend at the World Championship 2011.
The registration deadline is Feb, 20th 2011. The applicants are informed per e-mail at Christmas 2010 or later, if they are allowed to attend.
Furthermore the attendants should fill out the following details (see Teilnehmer Information / Participants details).
